Domaine de l’Anglore – At the top in Tavel

Eric Pfifferling is a man of nature and of Tavel. His roots are deeply anchored in this region, where he like no one else knows how to make wine based on Grenache, Clairette, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, Carignan, Bourboulenc and Syrah.

Since he took over the vineyards from his grandmother, he cultivates with great care the 7 hectares of land, mainly in Tavel, but partly in Lirac and further to the South near Nîmes. His father’s passion for bee keeping comes extra and connects to the policy of biological framing Eric applies in his vineyards and beyond.
Amongst his teachers are Philippe Valette and Marcel Lapierre. No wonder some say the l’Anglore style can be best described as ‘Beaujolais from the Southern Rhone’!

L’Anglore wines are ever more sought after and are nearly completely distributed by allocation. In our October auction you can place bids on 16 lots of this unique domain: lots 2202 through 2217.
