Commercial Auction Assistant (Valuer) - fulltime

You are a wine lover and have thorough knowledge of wines. You like to be part of a team of appraisers.

What you will do:

- Select the wines offered to us for auction-worthiness;

- Prepare, process and follow-up quotations (wine appraisals);

- Maintain contacts with contributors and buyers;

- Supervising bids during the auction;

- Describing wines for the catalogue;

What we ask of you:

- Above-average knowledge of wine;

- You are strong, both numerically & analyticaly;

- Work quickly and accurately;

- Having an eye for detail and being able to make fast connections;

- Problem-solving attitude;

- Commercialism, creativity and flexibility;

- Stress resistance;

- Speaking and writing good French, Dutch and English. Any other language is a plus;

- Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel;

- Good physical condition;

- Possession of a driving licence 

- Your presence during the 7 auction weekends each year.
