Champagne Tom Gauditiabois

Tom Gauditiabois' Champagnes capture the essence of craftsmanship and terroir in the Champagne region.

The ‘Exploration’ line consists of several cuvées, some of which are blends and others made from a single grape variety. Each edition reflects his passion for exploring and expressing the unique characteristics of his vineyards in Chézy-sur-Marne. To date, he has released only seven different editions, each with a different composition. On each occasion, he makes only one Champagne to test out which vineyard or composition has the most potential: hence the name Exploration (discovery).

An emerging and passionate winemaker, Gauditiabois learnt the tricks of the trade from renowned houses such as Jacques Selosse and Pierre Péters. With respect for tradition and a modern outlook, he creates elegant, refined champagnes.
Gauditiabois works with the classic Champagne grapes Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier, sourced from carefully selected parcels. Through spontaneous fermentation, long ageing ‘sur lie’ and minimal dosage, he brings out the pure expression of the terroir and natural freshness. His Champagnes are known for their complexity and balance, with aromas of citrus, white fruit, brioche and toasted nuts. The fine mousse and lively acidity create a fresh, layered palate.

With its commitment to quality and innovation, Gauditiabois is a very promising name in the world of sparkling wines. Those wishing to discover these special champagnes will find lots 1094 and 1095 in the Valentine's auction.
